Getting a Quantities File from ideCAD Static

To obtain a detailed quantities file from ideCAD Static, follow the steps below:

1. After the analysis is complete, click on the Report tab at the top. Then, access Quantities Report Settings by clicking on the Quantities option.

You can also access Quantities Report Settings from the Ribbon menu under the Reports tab, in the Quantities section.

2. In the Quantities Report Settings menu, select the quantities type as Formwork Quantities, Concrete Quantities, Reinforcement Quantities, and Total Quantities. In the Quantities Detail section, select Detailed Quantities. In the Element Types section, select all the elements calculated in the project. In the Other tab, select the Position list in detailed quantities option and click the Generate button.

3. In the PDF file that opens on the screen, click on the File tab at the top. Click on the Save As option to save the quantities file as a .txt file. Since Tasnifer processes ideCAD Static data in .txt format, this PDF file must be saved as a .txt file.
