Rebar Module

This section provides information about Tasnifer's Reinforced Concrete Rebar module.

As mentioned in the previous sections of the guide, Tasnifer has two separate modules for reinforced concrete rebars and steel profiles.

The main features of the rebar module are as follows:

  • Prepares cutting plans to minimize waste generated during the cutting of construction rebars.
  • Can directly import rebar quantity data from existing reinforced concrete software packages without manual data entry.
  • Can also import quantity data from Excel files prepared by the user.
  • Allows downloading detailed quantities obtained from the analysis of the project in Excel format from software packages.
  • Thus, it enables structural engineers to account for changes made in the drawing editor after the analysis is completed.
  • Classifies the data obtained from the quantity file, allowing interactive examination of rebar information and quantities by floor and element. Provides element-based control options for ironworkers, site managers, and building inspectors.
  • Considers the overlap lengths of rebars longer than 12 meters in the cutting plan.
  • Can prepare cutting plans for rebars produced in lengths other than 12 meters.
  • Can prepare cutting plans with different floor and diameter configurations.
  • While preparing the cutting plan, it can use the waste from one diameter for suitable rebars of a smaller diameter.
  • Allows adjusting the shortest length to be considered for the waste remaining at the end of the cutting process.
  • Indicates the location of each piece in the cutting plan.
  • Calculates how much of each rebar needs to be ordered for each floor and the entire structure before construction begins.
  • Calculates the efficiency you will achieve by floor and diameter.
  • Provides a list of the waste remaining at the end of the cutting process.
  • Allows downloading the generated cutting plans in PDF and Excel formats.
